Jordan: European Union's role in Mideast is essential - King
more His Majesty King Abdullah on Sunday underscored the significance
of the EU role during the coming few months in supporting security
and stability in the Middle East. The King urged the Europeans
to back efforts to bring about peace between the Palestinians and

Russia: On the Withdrawal of Russian Peacekeepers from Georgia
more Russian peacekeepers on September 13 dismantled their posts
on the Poti-Senaki line and left the territory of Georgia in accordance
with the agreement reached by President Dmitry Medvedev of the

Iran: War game 'Defenders of Velayat' to be staged next week
more Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said that the maneuver
code-named 'Defenders of Velayat' will be held as of Monday. Speaking
to reporters at the end of a cabinet session on Sunday, he further
said that the war game may begin next Monday. The minister also
said that all the war game mainly seeks to promote military capability
