Palestine: Permanent Observance for Palestine at UN Calls on Inte'l Community to Comply Israel to Halt Building Apartheid Wall

Permanent Observance for Palestine to the United Nations reiterated today its bid to the international community to exert painstaking efforts to comply Israel, occupying authority, to halt right now building the Apartheid wall and illegal colonizing in the Palestinian territories particularly East Jerusalem and its hinterland.

Marking the fourth anniversary of ICJ's ruling over the Apartheid wall, Permanent Observance for Palestine to the United Nations said, in s statement that such Israeli illegal acts and practices are on purpose of dismemberment the geographical contiguity and integrity of the Palestinian territories and hamper every substantive efforts to achieve everlasting peace based on a two-state solution and the Palestinian people right's of self- determination and establish his own state, with East Jerusalem the capital.

'High Court of Justice, is the primary judicial organ of the United Nation, asserts that building the wall in the occupied Palestinian territories is illegal and Israel must stop violating the international law and cease building the wall and dismantle it , in addition to offering compensations for those damaged by building it,' Permanent Observance for Palestine to the United Nations' statement said.

On 20 July 2004, UN General Assembly ratified unanimously ICJ's ruling that calls Israel and member states to adhere with the its legal obligations as outlined in ICJ's ruling.

The statement said that Israel has accomplished almost 60 per cent of 701 Km. planned wall. To complete the wall, Israeli is continuing to grab further Palestinians lands, destroy the Palestinian estates , force them to exile, an endless violation of the international law.
